Hi Crafty Friends, I am SUPER excited to be part of this blog hop for Altenew! You just came from Natasha Davies. I'm sharing the Build-A-Flower Fashion Monger Dahlia Layering Stamp and Die. We all know that Altenew has beautiful Layering Flower Stamps and this one is no different. Have fun hopping along an enjoy all of the inspiration. All opinions are my own, I use and share what I like. I have some affiliate links, they cost you nothing to use. Everything I used for this project is listed and linked below. To see the full video tutorial click here or watch below.

Build-A-Flower: Fashion Monger Dahlia Product Description:

Want to make a bold statement on your handmade cards? The Fashion Monger Dahlia is the flower for you! This set features one six-layer flower and two three-layer leaves. The leaves have a delicate and lacy feel to them to help you achieve a richer look on your projects. The included sentiments feature a gorgeous pairing of fonts to accompany your floral creations.

Giveaway Prizes

$200 in total prizes! To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 2 lucky winners and a $20 gift certificate to 5 winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or each designer’s blog post on the blog hop list below by 08/07/2021 for a chance to win. Altenew will draw 7 random winners from the comments left on each stop of this blog hop and announce the winners on the Altenew Winners Page on 08/09/2021.

One of the things that I love about Altenew is that their Layering Stamps come with a guide on how to line up each layer to the flower. I inked up two flowers one with the ink collection Tea Party and the other with Sea Shore. I used Gold Embossing Powder for the outlines of the flowers and leaves. I used the Tropical Forest Collection for the leaves.

I inked the background with Bamboo Ink by taking the ink pad directly to the cardstock and swiping to the side. Not going all the way across. I also swiped Versamark ink in smaller areas and added Gold Embossing Powder. I stamped the sentiments with black ink.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed this project. Head on over to the next stop on the hop..Linda Westfall.

Hugs,

Joy
