I started this slimline card by lightly inkblending the background sky and grass with Shabby Shutters and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inks. Then I stamped my images from the Home Sweet Home Stamp and gold heat embossed my image onto watercolor paper. I came in with Karin Markers and colored all of the images. I used the new WaterBrush pen to help blend out the colors. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images. I stamped and gold heat embossed the sentiment.

I love Christmas lights so much and so this card was a blast to make. I stamped the image from All Is Bright onto watercolor paper with black ink. I used Karin Markers to color in the lights and then I added some very light color around the bulbs to make it look like the light was shining. I stamped the sentiment right over the image and gold heat embossed it. This gives you a one-layer card. I matted some black cardstock behind it.

This is a fun die cut card! I used the Layered Snowflakes 3D Embossing Folder for the background onto Aquamarine cardstock. I die cut the snowman and globe from the Globe Builder Die Set in black, orange, white glitter and gold glitter cardstocks. The sentiment is from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by, have a wonderful day!

Hugs,

Joy

Just love your Christmas lights - the focus on black and white with the color pops of the globes, thank you.
