I started with an A2 size card base in white, then trimmed a piece of patterned paper from Spellbinders about 1/8" on all sides. I adhered that to the card base.

I used the Modern Essentials Rectangle Die and cut 2 white pieces of cardstock, one for the front of the shaker and one for the back. I used the birthday sentiment from the Large Die of the Month and the Heart Balloon from the Small Die of the Month. I also cut extra hearts from the White Diamond Glitter Cardstock. I stamped the "Happy" sentiment on Ebony Cardstock and heat embossed that in gold.

I die cut the glitter hearts to fit around the window hearts and glued those down. I adhered the window plastic to the back of the panel and then added foam tape around all the edges. I filled it with seed beads and star confetti then put the second piece of cut white cardstock on the back. Now you have a shaker card.

I used score tape on the back of the shaker for stronger adhesion. I centered that onto the A2 size card base. Now it is done!

I hope you enjoyed this project and I hope you feel inspired. Keep hopping along for more great projects!! Your next stop on the hop is Marie Heiderscheit. Have fun and leave comments!

I was just wondering about using seed beads in shaker cards a couple of days ago. What a beautiful answer to my question.
