Hi crafty friends, I hope you are ready for a fun shaker card! I used the Small Die of the Month for this project. I kept the colors simple and added texture by using an embossing folder. Don't forget to leave a comment on Spellbinders Blog for a chance to win a $50 gift certificate. To watch the full video tutorial click here or watch below. All opinions are my own, I use and share what I like. I have some affiliate links, they cost you nothing. All supplies are listed and linked below. Your next stop on the hop is listed below.
I started by inking the background with Taylored Expressions Mint Julep and Confetti Cake Ink. I added some detail with Distress Oxide Sprays and Shimmer Sparkles. I died cut the stars into the background with components from the Small Die of the Month. I then die cut the window frames from white cardstock. I die cut the sentiment from Gold Mirror Cardstock and mounted that onto a piece of white cardstock. I embossed the background with the a snowflake embossing folder, I trimmed it down 1/8" on all sides. I added all the fun sequins from Honey Bee Stamps and Spiegelmom. I added the clouds and moon, finished with the frames and we have a beautiful shaker card.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed this project.
Hugs,
Joy

Your card is gorgeous, magical in fact! Thanks for sharing.
One of my first dies was a window from spellbinders which I got at a garage sale. One of the first cards I made with it was a shaker. Great ideas live forever and I love this card. Thanks for the memory smile.
Love your shaker card. The embossed background sets it off nicely and love the colors of the window background. Very pretty card. Thanks for sharing your talent with us and inspiring us all. :)
