Hi Crafty friends, Reverse Confetti has a Stock Your Stash Challenge and so I decided to make a Mother's Day card for it. Head over to their blog for more details. I also created a video to go along with this card. I did some ink smooshing, which I haven't done in a while and it was fun! Click here to see the full video tutorial or watch below.
All opinions are my own, I use and share what I like. I have some affiliate links, they cost you nothing to use.
I started with a piece of white cardstock and stamped the images from the Sending Smiles stamp set with clear ink and then I white heat embossed them. I added ink to my stencil mat and spritzed it with water, then pressed my paper onto it (embossed side down).
I die cut the frame, "mom" word and shadow from white cardstock. I inked "mom" with Surf ink and then adhered all three mom die cuts together for dimension. I glued that to the white shadow. I adhered the inked background to a white A2 size card base, then added the frame and sentiment with foam tape. I finished with with a scattering of confetti.
I hope you enjoyed the project, have a great day!
Hugs,
Joy
This is beautiful!
