Taylored Expressions|Stenciled Shimmery Heart Background with Pennant Parade Valentines

Hi crafty friends. For today's project, I made a Valentine's card with a stenciled background using Moon Dust Stickles. Then to make the card complete, I am using the Pennant Parade Valentines stamp and coordinating die. These little pennants are so cute and I love that there are 5 different patterns to stamp. I wanted the pennants to be the star of the show, so I kept the background color simple by using grey. I added some bling by using the Moon Dust Stickles on the grey cardstock. To see the full video tutorial click here or watch below. All opinions are my own, I use and share what I like. Everything I used is listed and linked below.

I used Moon Dust Stickles with the Heart To Heart Stencil on Sea Salt cardstock. The Moon Dust Stickles is so glittery and sparkly. Set that aside to dry. I stamped the Pennant images onto Sugar Cube cardstock with 3 different inks..Fruit Punch, Guava and Pink Champagne. Then I stamped the images with Versamark Ink, sprinkled on Clear Embossing Powder and heated that until it is melted.

I used the coordinating dies and cut out the Pennants, I also die cut more Pennants from Earl Grey cardstock. I adhered the Earl Grey die cuts behind the stamped Pennants a little offset to add a shadow behind it. I stamped and white heat embossed the two sentiments on Sea Salt cardstock and matted it with Earl Grey cardstock. I used Foam Sticky Circles behind the Pennants for dimension, adhered the sentiments directly to the cardstock. I matted the Sea Salt card panel on to Earl Grey then adhered that to an A2 size white cardstock. I finished the card with a few White Rhinestones.

Thanks for stopping by, Have a wonderful day!

Hugs,

Joy
